Wauconda Bowl, Bar, & Gaming

Wauconda Bowl, Bar, and Gaming, established in 1949, is a family owned and operated bowling alley with a cozy and friendly environment. Lori has been running this business with her husband Danny for many years, and they are both dedicated to providing members with a one-of-a-kind experience that simply couldn’t be found at a corporate owned bowling alley.

What started in 1955 as a bowling tournament called, “The Hummdinger,” is now an important part of Wauconda Bowl’s history. The “Hummdinger Tournament” is now one of the longest running USBC Sanctioned Handicapped Tournaments in Illinois. Bowlers have the opportunity to place in numerous categories where they can win huge cash prizes!

Wauconda Bowl provides visitors an old-school vibe with a fresh face lift. They now offer the new BES X Bowling Entertaiment System, and with all the new bumpers, gutters, scoring system, LED TV’s, and touch screen consoles, it has certainly made a difference! Wauconda Bowl features eight lanes of bowling with many different league options including Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, and Youth. They also have open bowl hours daily for those who aren’t in a league. If you’re looking to catch any game, Wauconda Bowl has Xfinity and free WiFi so you’ll always be able to check in on your fantasy teams and watch your favorite sports. For any guests feeling lucky, they have six video gaming terminals with dozens of games to choose from for your entertainment.

Wauconda Bowl is a great place to host your next event. They offer three great venues including two private party rooms and an outdoor beer garden. They only charge for drinks, bowling, and their delicious pizza…no room charge here! However, guests are more than welcome to cater their own events as well. Even if they are not technically open during the time of your event, Lori and Danny will open the bowling alley just for you and your guests. Check out Wauconda Bowl, where the good times roll!
